I embraced a peplum top for the first time last month and loved it with printed pants so had to work that forumula again... I now own 3 peplum tops, wihich really fit into my feminine style...
Have to say my style is really coming into it's own this year... After losing the weight I went thrifting a lot as I was starting from scratch... That is a dangerous thing because it can become addictive.. I've cut way back on the thrifting , though I will always look to it for dresses, and knitwear.... The Navy shrug in my photo below is a thrifted find.
I wasn't sure about adding the shrug over the sleeveless top, but think after seeing the photos that it works ok.. I have to have my shoulders covered in the AC...
I am including a second photo of the first time I wore a peplum with the note that after seeing these photos , I sized up on the white one and may have to see if DD wants this one. I was very bloated in that one so willl try it one more time to see how swollen my chest really was because it felt huge!
I began testing my 14 year old homeschooler yesterday and it went very well as he was in a cooperative mood! We usually test earlier, so this is interrupting his Summer break, but with other son's graduation, we got sidetracked... So fun to see him whiz by the vocabulary and reading comprehension after the messed up school mislabeled as learning disabled and to really see our successs!
