A very forest green, teal, and peacock moment.
This scarf, an Angie pick from WAY back during the early days of the YouLookFab store (pre-Finds), is one of my most loved and worn pieces in my wardrobe. I love all of the colors that the scarf contains, I love how large but lightweight and easy to knot it is.
The other highlight of the outfit is this leather jacket in forest green, a new and favorite addition from this summer. You have NO idea how excited I was to find a deep green jacket that fits me perfectly. This has been on my fantasy bucket list for at least 6 years, and this jacket fit all the criteria I had. I wear it at least weekly (except during late summer when it was too hot.)
Today I am going low contrast with a teal tie-neck blouse and teal skinnies. Picking up the black base in the scarf, I have my black suede quilted booties and textured, shiny black suede tote. Excuse all the wrinkles on the skinnies-between a long drive and lots of rain I got a bit rumpled, but didn't realize it until after taking these photos.
Scent of the day is a combination of Jo Malone Nutmeg and Ginger, and Mimosa and Cardamom. These are longer lasting than many Jo Malone fragrances but are still subtle-nice to wear when you want spice and a hint of floral, but cannot (or don't want to) wear a strong scent. Cardamom is so lovely but the spice/note doesn't tend to last in any perfume; the nutmeg and ginger keeps the sweet spicy fragrance going quite a bit longer.
