I wore this to a clothing swap/cocktail party at a GF's house Thursday. Sorry I don't have a proper WIW pic of the outfit itself. I wanted to wear my new flannel so that was what the outfit was built around. Debated the lilac booties but went with the black for more cohesiveness (although I took them off at the door not to be worn the rest of the night lol).
I knew the flannel wouldn't be on for long indoors, either. I originally was thinking of a black tee but thought the raspberry would add more 'oomph' against the black and white ensemble. A white cami was so I could try on tops easily without fully changing and as a logical underlayer for the low cowl neck.
Now . . . what is essential, what is statement?
I think the flannel is a statement, but I also think the raspberry tee is a statement. The white jeans are essential. The cami is a basic. The booties - I have no idea lol.
