Tuesday we had our first Parents night out for us hardworking homeschooling mothers of teenagers... It was so much fun and we giggled hysterically when married among us all realized we had all steered our husband's clear of the event to protect a girls night out... We've planned two more...

I knew that I would be the only one wearing a dress, but that these supportive women would embrace me being me... To not over-do it, I opted for a casual thrifted aztec print jacket and flat riding boots... I liked the mix of the sparkle on the dress with the more casual elements.. So far, I've worn this dress from Jane.com twice, last time with same boots and a longer comfy tan sweater...I love that in summer I will reserve options to pair heels with it and dress it up a bit..

Next up is what i wore bowling... I chose Diane Gilman Jeggings as the wide elastic waistband was perfect for the activity.That's my bowling shoe tote I take every week.. . I actually put this look together from the bottom up wanting to wear my blue boots from Ireland... LoL

I am taking care of me this week with going out more,(something this SAHM who home-schools needs desperately) and scheduled a lunch with a friend for tomorrow.. i have three other friends to catch up with and am going to schedule lunch dates for them in the coming weeks...
