Pale pink jeans, embroidery and paisley

Angie's post today came just in the nick of time. I bought some new pants yesterday, among them, pale pink! I'm not used to wearing pink. I've tried to put together a few outfits with the pink pants. Also I bought some embroidered crops and paisley crops. Let me know what you think.
I haven't cut the tags on anything, so if you think I should return it, it's not too late.
Thank you!

1. Pink pants with white tee and thrifted scarf, with new blue flats and Furla bag.
2. Pink pants with printed top, and same shoes and bag.
3. Pink pants with blue top, hand knit scarf, and silver Fitflops.
4-5. Embroidered crops with blue top, with silver sandal clogs.
6. Paisley crops, blue top, and Fitflops. (Wrong shade of blue, I think.)
7. Close up of paisley

I like all 3 items. You've done a good job of styling the pink pants so they don't look twee. I love the embroidery of the white jeans and the paisley is a nice muted print.

I think everything looks fab, but those white crops with embroidery are my favorite. You seem to have found pieces that taper just the right amount so that that they're very flattering. I have such a hard time with that.

I like photos 4-5 the best, but also think the pink pants look great, especially with your grey shoes. Well done!

What great pieces! I have a weakness for blush pants and will be very sad when my blush jeans wear out. Where did you find yours? The blue top is such a pretty shade. I like everything. You look ready for warm weather.

You can wear it all.
I like how the pink/blush part of the scarf echoes your pink pants. The pink pants are also lovely with the blue items.
I really love the embroidered crops. Beautiful, special and very summer-ish.
The paisley crops look interesting and could probably be styled with a variety of summer tops.
Nice collection of shoes. Silver shoes are versatile neutrals and add a little pizzazz to most outfits.

Cobaltblue, thanks! I haven't worn pink since my mother dressed me, so it's kind new for me.

Joy, thanks! I bought all of the pants at Kohl's. Last year I bought some Lee curvy fit crops that I loved. I lost some weight so some of those were too big. This year, Lees didn't fit. These are Gloria Vanderbilt heritage fit. The embroidered pants are Kohls house brand, Croft and Barrow.

Are you SURE you don't need a size down in all the new bottoms? You are smaller than you think you are - especially after the weight loss.

#1 and #2 are FABULOUS. I love the French blue shoes and bag with the pink jeans. Very nicely done.

Try #6 with a white top, and #4 with a navy top.

Angie, I completely agree with you as to the colors. After I saw the paisley picture, I thought it was the wrong shade of blue. As to size, do the pink jeans look too big? They fit in the waist. In the pictures, the embroidered and paisley ones do look a little baggy, I agree. I'll have to revisit this. Thank you for your thoughts.

The pink jeans look relaxed and boyfriend-y. They aren't falling off are they? If they aren't - keep this size. Try a size down in the other two styles.

Good idea. The pink ones fit in the waist, so definitely not falling off. I also bought them in white. My white Kut BFs *were* falling off! I'll see how a smaller size in the other two would fit. Thank you!

Wow, I'm in love with your new D'Orsay point-toe flats. Where did you find them?

Your pink trousers look very nice, and the white embroidered pair is beautiful. The embroidery is one of the prettiest I've seen in a while, and I happen to be very picky when it comes to embroidered flowers.

I also agree with Angie, that a smaller size might work for you.

I'm not a fan of the paisley trousers, though, sorry. The fabric is interesting, but the proportions are a bit off to my eye. I think they would look better, if they were a bit longer.

My favourite look is #2, because it's perfect.
#1 would look better with a different scarf. The red one is a bit too strong for the soft pastels you're wearing (in my opinion).

I also think your awesome white embroidered trousers would look great with your new blue D'Orsay flats. I'm a big fan of your printed tee in #2 as well.

What Angie said re the pants. I love the pink ones!! That first outfit is sublime on you. And so is the second!! And I think this size works in these pants (if they don't stretch).

I do think you can try a size down in the others, though.

I'm going to order the embroidered ones in a smaller size. They seem to be out of the paisley ones. I went back to the store and a SA was very helpful, but the pants section was kind of a mess.

I love the embroidered pants. And the pink pants are fab too. You have styled them well. I am with Tisa on the paisley pants. Although I love paisley, they don't seem long enough. Maybe it's the top that's putting me off. I am glad you are trying the embroidered pants in a smaller size, as Angie suggests. They are a real find.

I like the pink pants and the white embroidered ones and agree with others to try a size down.
I also like your d'orsay shoes! Very nice.
I'm not too keen on the paisley pants for some reason. I'm sorry I don't know why!

Oh my gosh! What a fabulous capsule! You are going to have so much fun with these clothes this summer. Love - love - love the blush chinos and the styling in #1 and #2. Beautiful scarf in #1 and great footwear too!

Smittie, thanks! Re the paisley pants, it might be a combo of the thick fabric, wrong size, wrong top, wrong wrong wrong. I love the print, though. I hope the smaller size of the embroidered pants work out.
