Paige bootcut jeans - YouLookFab Forum

I decided to try these after reviewing my denim collection. I have dark wash flares with a wider more dramatic opening, and a lighter wash also with a wider leg, plus a couple of older pairs of jeans with self-released hems to create a slight bootcut. No other baby bootcuts are in my collection at the moment, so these may be a good addition for me.

The length is perfect with a 2” heel (I’m definitely keeping the snake print booties, already wore them out to dinner one unusual night when the temperature cooled enough to wear jeans). But I may hem them just a little to wear with my 1.5” heels since my other flares work with the higher heel.

I think they look pretty good, so I’m inclined to keep. They are quite fitted on the leg on me, but I guess they are meant to be. Unless you all see something dramatically off that I don’t...

Dramatically off? Ha ha! I think you could safely dump all your other jeans and just wear these and look fabulous every day.

I think they look great on you! I decided to keep mine so we will be Jean twins. I cannot say anything negative about the leg fit. Your legs look long and sleek in these jeans.

I tried three pairs of boot cut jeans and these were the best. I tried Joes hello honey high rise curvy boot cuts which fit nicely but had a lighter wash and odd whiskering across the widest part of the hips. They can win for having the best alliteration ..... The third pair were NY&Co. High Rise Boot Cut Jeans which fit well but had vertical fading on the legs. I liked them but since I am only picking one pair, I chose the Paige because they are most likely to work with the widest range of my wardrobe.

They look perfect! Mine are very fitted on the leg too, I think they are supposed to be that way. They won’t loose the baby bootcut when hemmed, so I think I’m going to hem mine a little.

I will be watching my tailor like a hawk when she pins them for hemming. It is such a small amount, just enough to keep them from dragging on the ground, and I hate when they alter them too short!

Great fit -- keep! I'm anxiously waiting on mine, which now appear to at least made it through customs. You'd think Canada was some remote Northern Outpost at the rate this is taking (order placed on July 19). I've also got those boots on order, and will likely be hemming the jeans to wear with heels that high. I'm still not quite on board with the whole boot-cut-with-sneakers look, but I never say never...

Lisa, I’m curious about the bootcut with sneaker look. I’m not sure whether any of my sneakers are quite right for that look. I need to take a closer look at what is current in sneakers and assess my collection. I think if I take a half inch off these jeans to accommodate low heeled boots, they would also work with a thick-soles sneaker, but I’m not certain. I may spring for a new pair of current sneakers for fall/early winter.

Wow these ARE magical and look incredible on you! I'm not shopping for jeans right now, and the rise on these is 1/2" too long for me (8 1/2" is best and can occasionally do 9" but these say 9 1/2") but I'll definitely put Paige on my radar!

I'm curious about it too, but want to make sure I'm not creating a situation where I feel like I must get yet another pair of fashion sneakers to make this a current look. I might be reacting to the current climate change emergency and the need for us all to slow down and think about what we are doing , but I am positively exhausted now from shopping, thinking, buying, planning etc. Sorry to veer off in another direction here......

btw - I ordered a 29,never having worn Paige brand anything before. Hope this works - yikes.

I still love my 7+ year old Paige Hidden Hills flares, one of my first YLF inspired purchases. They still look like new. And this is why -Paige makes such flattering jeans.

I'm going to try the bootcuts and sneakers look with my other pair of jeans, and keep these for wearing with actual boots/heels.

Ooooh. Aaahhhh! Those are amazing on you. 1/2” is so small. Is it worth washing and drying in 5 minute increment and measuring the inseam each time? I have done this and it worked. Fabric seems to shrink in length mush faster than width. Can’t wait to see you and Everest wear the heck out of these.
