This is the second outfit that I put together with purchases that I had made at the YLF meetup in Orange County: Blue, purple, and white blouse underneath a purple V-neck sweater; cobalt blue pencil skirt, and leopard print pumps. I wanted to wear an outfit that felt somewhat monochromatic but play with textural and color varities a bit.

I also am including a few photos that I took during my day at Disneyland. I'd never been to an amusement park on my own before, and while I really prefer going with people I love, it was actually fun on my own. I got to explore the park, including the new Buena Vista street area (#3) and Cars Land (#4) at my own pace. I was able to avoid long lines by jumping in the single rider queue, and enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Blue Bayou (the restaurant inside Pirates of the Caribbean) without a wait. I loved looking at the Halloween touches to the park and some rides, and at the end of the day relaxed with a viewing of the World of Color show (#7), which is just gorgeous. While my feet were quite tired from slowly walking around and standing for days with the YLF gals, I was glad that I took an extra day to hit up the parks at the end of the trip!
