Outfit opinion: good or bad?

super cute. no chubbiness. i think the floppiness of the neck makes it clear that your neck is smaller than the turtle.

I agree that there is no issue at all with your neck. However, I know that for myself, knit sleeves like this can be an issue. I don't mind a puffier sleeve occasionally in a thin drapey blouse, but in a sweater it can feel like it adds weird bulk. I have one sweater like this that I can't get rid of (cashmere Christmas gift from DH) but I never quite feel well-proportioned when I wear it. I don't think this sweater necessarily looks off on you, but I get how it might feel that way. BTW, the vest is awesome. With a closer-fitting sleeve I bet it feels (and looks) terrific.

I actually like this look on you. It emphasizes the shape of your face and the vest adds nice structure to the knitwear. Not a miss to my eye. Disclosure: I live in a cold climate and have just added 3 similar sweaters to my wardrobe.

I love the concept of the outfit. Cute and cuddly. I do find the neckline a little high and bulky for your neck length and face shape, but I love the volume of the sleeves and the rest of the proportions of your outfit.

Your outfit is so ridiculously ski-bunny cute! but if I were wearing it right now, I would feel exactly the same way you do - that something was amiss - but just barely. I had to really really look. This is a great outit, and you can wear this just about anywhere and be the cutest/hottest girl in the room. But my eyes keep going to the neck of the sweater. I agree with Angie. What does it look like if you unfold the collar and just scrunch it down? Or is it too long?

Oh no, this is a splendid outfit! If I may say so, in light of your blog title, I think your shape is one of the few that can carry this cut of fuzzy vest, because it adds so much to the shoulders...

With my short-waisted apple shape, I tend to look like a hamster.

Thanks so much for the input, ladies! Angie, I appreciate the honest feedback!

The neckline is hard to work with. Some turtlenecks are a bit long and easy to scrunch, or shorter and not as tight to the neck but this one is just rough.

And Rachylou, this vest has become one of my most versatile pieces!
