I don’t buy a lot of black these days, navy being my day to day neutral. But I so this tee earlier this spring and it just made me happy. The big happy flower, the cotton is light and soft, and the length is cropped but not so cropped that I feel the need to wear a tank top underneath, and bonus the side hem as little splits so it hangs well.
We had a wicked rain last night, so it looks like the officially heat wave is over, and it’s only going to be 85F/29C today. But of course more rain. Yesterday’s rain was so bad it flooded the parkway that I commute on, scary trip home.
Anyway, back to the outfit. Graphic tee, white trousers and thrifting my own closet, not quite vintage ballet flats. When the AC at work got to me too much, threw on an ancient denim jacket I keep at my desk for just such moments (when I say ancient I mean this jacket is at least 20 years old)
