Seriously ladies you are all too kind.... and I love your for it But you know it could be any one of you, as you are all incredibly stylish women. I am inspired by you each and every day and am not sure I could get dressed in the mornings if I don't have a quick skim of what everyone is wearing when I wake each day. I am very proud to be part of this community and have access to such a special group of women who beautiful on the inside and out. xxx
Deborah for me you are a style icon. I feel very fortunate that you share your stunning style on YLF and your blog. Because of you I have rediscovered my love of black. There is something so timeless, elegant and understated yet edgy about black, for me you personify this look. It is also lovely to see how you (and other forum members) constantly update your style, the new undercut is simply stunning.
Deborah, I thought I had replied yesterday, mustn't have pressed submit. Anyway just wanted to say congratulations. As CocoCat says it is clearly an honour to be picked! Some of the comments were a little amusing to one who knows you a bit better. I think some of them would be surprised to know your real height, and I was amused to see the description of where you lived!
I love your outfits; both of them! I found the comments fascinating! The most common tweak was to say that the voluminous top needed to be paired with long skinny pants. That's a fine look, but so ordinary! Also interesting that several thought the cropped flairs were outdated! I loved your cropped flairs and booties; in my opinion they are what made the outfit!
I love how this site has trained my eyes to see new things and appreciate them.
Congrats Debra; in sum, beautiful photography and wonderful outfits
Congrats on the dual feature, Deborah! The public eye can be a critical one but love your attitude.
Visual sameness is so boring to me -- even if I wouldn't wear someone else's outfit or find a lot to dislike I'm glad to see diversity!
ps Re being tagged on a "senior" style group -- don't worry, I'm in my late 40s and my mom won't even let me say I'm middle-aged; she'd never approve of you being labelled senior, ha!
I rarely log onto facebook (true story I only joined to see my nieces' friends - at their insistence), but will have a snoop around and see if I can find you Deborah! I have no doubt you look smashing. (And April, if you see this, I am blushing!)
