Hi everyone!
I wanted to let you know why I have been silent lately on the forum. Upon returning from the Toronto meetup, I got alarming news that my mother had been rushed to hospital with respiratory failure. I immediately flew to her side.
Well after three weeks in the hospital, with one unconscious in intensive care, she is slowly recovering and now back at home.
And while we are all so happy that she is almost back to her old boisterous and lively self, the possibility of a relapse is there. A relapse, or even just catching a cold, would have dire consequences for her. I have decided to stay with her until after Christmas. I now have less time to the computer, although I have continued to read posts. You have no idea how YLF has helped me in the last weeks!

My mother is a coquette curvy woman, and when she was young, she did use cigarette as a form of weight control. She stopped many years ago, but nevertheless the damage was done, as lung disease (COPD) and it may now claim her life.

I know this might sound extreme, but seeing her like this, I think cigarette should be made illegal!
