Oh ladies. The day after it almost seems funny, but I know it isn't. I've barely recovered from the tragedy that took place near my office on Thursday, and last night my husband and I were hit by a drunk driver.
Normally I'd panic and cry, but in light of the incident Thursday all I could think about was that I was thankful to be alive.
Bryan and I are in pain, and my poor little Civic is crunched, but we're really okay.
The man hit another girl who then ran into us. The police were called and after the situation was assessed, statements were taken, and case numbers were provided, he was taken away.
My nerves are nearly shot at this point, but I'm going to take it easy today and hopefully find a good chiropractor.
On the bright side, I was dressed fab in my grape colored tunic cowl neck sweater, bootcut jeans, black boots, and my new olive green puffer.
These lessons have been very strong for me, and I'm hoping it will give me a new, lasting desire to live life to the fullest every day.
Hugs to all of you today. You're such a big part of my life, and I'm thankful for you, YLF, and Angie. <3
