How are you doing, Sarah? Please don't hesitate to go to a doctor (both of you), all sorts of things can go wrong, even if you don't feel them right now.
I'm thinking about you and Bryan. I'm so glad you're alright.
Oh, Sarah, what a scary week. When I saw the news about the plane crash I hoped that no one I knew in the area was nearby. I'm glad that you were okay, and that you and Bryan made it through the car accident without serious injury. I hope you are feeling better today, but I hope you won't hesitate to visit a doctor or chiropractor to prevent further injury.
Big, gentle hugs to you.
What a horrible thing to happen on top of everything, Sarah! SO glad to hear you're OK. Hope you had a relaxing weekend andgot some TLC from hubby and friends. Hugs from CA!
Thank you for the kind thoughts! Now that it's Monday we're able to make appointments and get everything (and everyone) fixed.
Bryan and I were rear ended several years ago and did not go to the doctor. We've regretted it ever since because every once in awhile our backs flare up.
This time, we were hit hard enough that our backs started hurting within seconds of the impact. So there's no question we're going in to see a doc/Chiro asap.
My car goes into the shop today. I know it's just a material thing, but I'll miss it. It's my favorite little car.
Bryan has been really supportive. His back is actually worse than mine, so we spent the weekend at home curled up on the couch (as comfortably as we could) and played Wii games and watched the Olympics with the kitties till bed time. It was about as peaceful as it could get.
Sarah, how awful!!! Life is so fragile - we always get little reminders that it is so. I'm glad to hear that you are OK. I read about the plane crash - how scary that it was so close! We had that gas plant explosion nearby from a couple of weeks ago - our house shook & windows rattled so I can understand how it feels to have such a scary event happen so close by.
Please report back and let us know how you are doing.
That is SO traumatic! I was hit several years ago and the EMTs made us go to the ER to get x-rays because we were t-boned. Please make sure you get a proper medical check up, both for the insurance claim and for your own safety! My mom told me an awful story about a lady the EMTs brought in after being t-boned and she thought she was fine but her neck was actually fractured! Scary!
