I have a question about real muffins, not muffin top;-)

What would you say is:
A. the most popular muffin "flavour" where you live - aside from chocolate chip?
B. your personal favourite?

Hmm...I'd say blueberry or raspberry. I personally love raspberry and white chocolate, and apple cinnamon

I'd say blueberry is probably the most popular here, it's at least the most widely available, probably even more so than chocolate chip.

My personal favorite is probably cream cheese.

Blueberry is probably the favorite around here. Myself, I'm a raspberry fan. I have to say once you put chocolate chips in it, I don't think it's a muffin any more. Putting chocolate in it makes it a cupcake.

1) Blueberry or banana nut around here too

2) Something with a red berry (raspberry, strawberry, etc) or something REALLY chocolatey for me! I agree about chocolate making is more than a muffin but I don't care...it makes it okay to eat chocolate for breakfast!!!

Blueberry or chocolate muffins (not chocolate chip) seem to be the most common/popular here.

I love multi-berry muffins... a mix of blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries.

Blueberry, raspberry and white chocolate or some sort of chocolate muffin are what you see most frequently in shops in the UK.

I prefer the muffins I make and love coming up with flavours! Pear and chocolate is a good one, as is strawberry and vanilla, but the most common one is banana chocolate chip.

I don't know what is popular in my are area; I almost never buy them.

My favourites might technically be cupcakes rather than muffins, and are homemade. They are caramel mudcake and white chocolate with rhubarb.

This is interesting. Inge, I have no idea about question 1. I hang around people who eat scones and pastries and I guess that's all I notice :0)

But for question 2, I'm lemon poppy seed all the way.

I should have added that one of the best I have ever tried is a savoury one in Australia - roast pumpkin and goats cheese with pumpkin seeds on top.

hahahaha - I was so sure this was going to be a muffin top question! I was all prepared to rant and rave about spilling out over the top of my too-low-cut jeans!

I can't answer though, because I don't typically eat muffins. Muffins = sugar and massive carbohydrates. I try to be careful about both. hehehee!

Oh, wow, I wouldn't know where to begin! I'd say that blueberry is the most popular, but there are so many bakeries in my area there are a million delicious options! In fact, I had a vegan pumpkin muffin for breakfast yesterday, which I think is my new favorite.

I can't answer this because chocolate chip is the clear winner for me and if I can't get chocolate chip, then I will usually choose something else all together. And it's not at all the same as a cupcake!

I could also probably enjoy a cinnamon walnut muffin, or some other cinnamon variety, but they are rare.

Blueberry is probably the most popular here.

If English muffins count, I love them a a savory option. Now I'm craving muffins

For question number 1, I live in Germany now, so keine Ahnung! But for question number 2, banana chocolate chip, blueberry, and BEST MUFFIN FLAVOR OF ALL TIME...LEMON POPPY SEED!!!

Here I think it depends on the age group, but it's probably Blueberry Bran.

I don't eat a lot of muffins. I do love cream-cheesy chocolaty ones but my favorites are either lemon poppyseed or this very specific honey bran muffin that some Peets carry.

For me, though, it is all about the muffin top!
