I'm not really writing this to seek medical advice on the Internet but rather to hold myself accountable.
I visited my GP in early December after bleeding on and off through out my cycle whilst on the pill for the previous four months. I was advised to come off of my pill and return to the GP for a smear and pelvic exam. I did this at the end of December, once the bleeding had stopped and the results were clear.
At this meeting it was decided I would try out an alternative pill and that I should give this medication a two month trial. Well after six and half weeks i could take no more of the almost constant bleeding and stopped taking the pill.
I have now been pill free since early February, I have not had a period (I'm not pregnant), I have a permanent dull ache just above my pelvis on the left and I'm quite bloated (the bloating also looks more visible on my left).
I really know I need to go back to the GP but I'm also aware many of these things can be caused by stress. I need a kick up the bum, forum please boot me! If I were your friend or sister what would you say.
