There’s linen , and then there’s linen. This is my first purchase from Canadian company Power of My People ( POMP) and the construction details and quality of the linen is outstanding . The colour saturation is so exciting too - I love a really vibrant - but- not - bright colour like this , otherwise I look sick and tired ( literally ) , especially with white shorts for a bottom . The prices are really fair , and my order was shipped quickly and packaged really beautifully . Consider me a repeat customer ! I’d like to build a collection of linen pieces like this - and for me the cost is worth it . I have inexpensive linen and linen blends from ON , Gap , Lord & Taylor etc but they are usually rumply casual pieces I’d not wear out of the house . This is a basic weekend look for errand running and futzing around the house . I deliberately chose cool colours in jewellery and nail polish to give the warmer green top some edge . I love the unexpected “ balance “ . Sandals are from Janet via DSW US and are super easy to wear and better for shopping etc than really flat shoes . Shorts are last year’s trusty Jags .
