Fuzzi dress arrived (formerly titled "Oops")

During the sale I ordered the dress shown here, since my dress collection is dwindling and it's nice to have a long-sleeved dress in the arsenal.

I returned home from vacation and opened the box today to find a toddler's pink puffy coat. I guess Nordstrom was asleep at the switch for that one. LOL

Oh well, I guess the universe is trying to tell me I don't need a dress and did enough shopping in SF!

During NAS I ordered the Longchamp bag which was on the packing slip but not in the box. I called, and they sent another one, and in fact, expedited it. Call them, if you haven't already, and they'll fix it.

I have two other returns to make, so I was going to just put the toddler coat in the bag with my returns -- I might see if they can reorder the dress with the sale price.

That dress was my fantasy pick from this year's NAS. For about 2 seconds I actually considered ordering it and framing it as a piece of art. I hope you get it, just to see you in it would be wonderful...even if you don't keep it.

What, no find for the coat?

When I ordered the turquoise purse you have, a beige one arrived instead. They tracked down the right colour from a store somewhere and sent it, expedited. It had sold out online several days, if not more than a week, earlier. So I bet they'll do what they can to find the dress. You need to at least try it!

Welp, it looked like it was still in stock in all sizes last night, but somehow this morning, it's all gone except for an XS. They must update their inventory overnight. Oh well, the universe speaks.

When Angie reported her almost-purchase of a Fuzzi dress, I checked them out and nearly commented, "Janet needs this dress!" because Janet, you need this dress! Did you note the reviews that advise sizing up, as it runs small? I do hope it makes it way to you. It has that night-garden look that is so sensational on you.

Well, on a whim I decided to check inventory again, and a L popped up in stock at the nearest Nordstrom to me. If the size chart is to be believed, it might be too large for me, but Angie did say it runs quite small, so we shall see. I don't have high hopes, because sometimes the size that accommodates my lower half ends up being too long in the torso. But I'll at least give it a try! I'll probably try to pick it up today or tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Uuuhhh, I just had a thought -- this might be a further error on Nordstrom's part. The child's jacket was packaged in a bag that had the inventory bar code for the dress. I think the inventory I just found is actually the stupid jacket I just returned. Duh. Off to call them now.
