Might be Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), or just sick of the 4 returns on leather pieced pants so far, but I jumped on real leather front pants at deep discount. Here's hoping they fit. They're a size up from my usual but returns are free, so here goes nothing!! GULP. http://www.cusp.com/Vince-Skin.....=CUB_R_TAP
Maybe this is what happens when you go into the world in gear? The universe offers up an appropriate alternative???

Those are beautiful! I'm glad they don't have them in my size so that I'm not tempted. I did order a pair of faux leather pants from Piperlime yesterday, so that will have to tide me over!

Ooohhhhh....love these! I have had leather front leggings for a couple of years and I still love them every time I wear them. Fingers crossed that they fit when they arrive.

Mo - I hope these work out for you. I bought leather leggings and although I would not wear them to work, I adore them. I think these will probably hold up exrtremely well because the leather front only should be easier on the knees. They are such a great wardrobe item. So hope they are perfect and that you adore them. I can see you really rocking this look. PS I know Anna has been emphatic on the need for quality on this item so I think it was a brilliant call!! JESUS! You really did go all out! But I'm sure they will be luxury quality and fit perfectly. I have been wanting a pair of these so badly, I don't think they will go out of style for at least 3 or 4 years, so you've got a lot of wear ahead of you with these. They are also a piece that could be saved once they go out of style, becasue come on...leather leggings will be back! What a great piece, I really need to get some!!!

OMG! I hope they work for you!! I tried on the Rag and Bone leather front jeans. They were the hottest, most amazing pants I've ever had on... but they were also $600 so back on the rack they went. Please post pix!

PS - I ended up buying faux leather front leggings from NAS. They've been a huge success!

Thanks ladies! I'm holding my breath.
I was going to try and wait until sale end on Saturday night so the credit card might not get billed until Monday (end of cycle) and then mentally smacked myself on the head. There was only one pair to be had, and I wanted to juggle around with silly games to make the purchase technically next month's. Sheesh. That's when I just swallowed hard and ordered. I have about $400 in returns on this month, so coupled with this buy, the bill is going to give BF a raised eyebrow for sure.
As for styling them, I could see my marbled tunic swirl with taupe shooties, my off white oversize BCBG sweater, a sheer bright purple button front (on the way), and my simple white drapey tee faux tucked for starters. Ooh, also the snakeskin textured black blazer I wore last night. I think that's a fine start off the top of my head.

Yesterday I had a sudden desire for a pair of leather pants (I think brought on by seeing Anna's leather chap jeans + cream cable sweater combo, since now I really want to wear my cream sweater with leather pants) so I hope I get to live vicariously through you at least.

$302 from $1,150?!?! Yeah, I would gulp too at spending this much, but the price is in the outer range of possibility vs. fantasy. Remind him that this is your Valentine's Day purchase and that every man will envy him for having you. Leather pants are definitely a look you can carry off, so I hope these fit. I can't wait 'til you show us!

you will LOVE these. especially since you have been searching for this item for ages. for something like this, i think the vince pants will really hold up, unlike some of their recent knitwear.
