One more pair of glasses to consider

I found one more pair of glasses that I liked in addition to those I featured in a recent thread (https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....asses-post). I have narrowed down the field to the two shown below. I really liked the first ones, but my husband found them to be a lot to adjust to (which is typical of him with any big change). I also like the second ones. The color is hard to appreciate in the photo, but it was a translucent pale brown that worked really well with my coloring. I feel the first is more bold; the second is more subtle. My four year old is steadfast in his opinion that my broken glasses are the best, but they are no more to be had. Any other opinions would be most helpful.

ETA: Just wanted to add that I still like the other pair I featured in my old post, but they are a step too bold for me right now.

I like both these pair better than those on the other thread. I have translucent frames in a pale grey for regular glasses and in a yellow green for prescription sun glasses and like both. Mine have held up very well for a few years and needed no adjustments.

I'm partial to 1 with the tortoiseshell (but the other pair are lovely too)

The both look good to me. I kind of like the second pair better for showcasing your eyes. But it may be just because those don't have lenses in them, or at least there is no reflection. Hard choice, and I think either could work.
btw, the first pair looks a lot like my most recent frames, which I alternate with two other pairs; I got them at Warby Parker.

Ack. They're both equally good. I'm gonna vote for 2...

ETA: I'm voting for 2, because they lift up a bit at the corners whereas 1 droop a bit down. It's a different *sentiment.*

Both work well; you can't go wrong with either. I'm voting 2 because there's something to be said for enhancement that is not also a statement. 2 won't compete with anything; they will dress up or down.

I like them both...I think 1 follows your brow a little nicer and I like the deeper lens on you, so I vote 1...but you can't go wrong with either.

I appreciate this input, although I am still torn! Before I asked I was almost sold on option 2, but now I think you are collectively talking me into option 1, which Angie actually gave the green light on months ago. She hasn’t seen option 2.

Firecracker, your eagle eye strikes again. The optician removed the demo lenses from the second pair so I could get a better picture (although the subtle color doesn’t show that well in photo). So because of that it’s not a fair photo comparison, actually.

Column, your sentiment is exactly what is holding me back from 1, which I have been wanting for months. Wish I could get both.

Jenava, I agree in the photo that 1 follows the brow better, but I think it is just the angle on photo 2 that makes it look that way.

I prefer the tortoise shell. KILLER. And fab with our new wardrobe pet.
