I got up earlier than I normally would this morning because I had an appointment with the eye doctor for my annual checkup. Little did I know that would not happen. I sat in the waiting area for 1 hr and 10 minutes (granted I did show up 20 minutes early) and one ever called my name. I decided that regardless of what type of excuse could be offered I was done politely waiting. So I left. I had no intention of giving them ALL of my Saturday. My biggest pet peeve is people who waste my time with poor customer service coming in at a close second.
I was carrying with me several items of clothing for the tailor. This more than made up for the wasted hour I'd spent waiting on the eye doctor. I can't wait to get them back next week Saturday. 2 suits: 1 dark red, 1 silver, 1 skirt, 1 dress, 3 pairs of trousers one of which I will have tapered and one gray green twill jacket that I miss wearing so much. (Yes there will be pictures, and thank you Joy for the idea to taper the trousers
Oh, the most important part of this post is what I wore. The proportions on the original outfit I had in mind did not work so I went through several combinations until I came up with this. Let me know what you think -- I was inspired by the dark red and turquoise combination.
