I have ordered Gap curvy and BR trousers to try as some of you recommended. Well, they arrived today and they are a bust as I expected (I am quickly becoming a pessimist where white jeans are concerned)
Anyway you can judge for yourself...

First of all they are too short even for flats. Website says 34" but it is a lie, I think they are under 33" in length. See how much shorter they are than BR (pic 3-4) which are also listed as 34". In addition they are too tight - and I sized up one size.

The length is OK with flats but the fit is not. I don't think they are tight (I sized up one size) but these crotch wrinkles are definitely should not be there, right? I cannot size up more because this is the biggest size they come in.
Back they go tomorrow. I am still expecting white Express trousers but my hopes are slim... Maybe white jeans and trousers and I are just not meant to be together?

And if not - although it is by no means the same thing - how about a white denim skirt? You already have white clams, right?

Thanks Deborah, I keep my fingers crossed for Express (especially with international shipping...) but I am really becoming a white pants pessimist...
Suz, I do have white bermudas and white skirt would be close to the bermudas in style options but I really want long white trousers or jeans for a different silhouette ...I guess I want too much :0(

How frustrating, Sveta!
The first ones are pretty close if they were just a little longer and one more size up (obviously their sizing is bizarre).

Have you tried Gap's long and leans? They seem to look good on lots of body types and the length of the Talls is listed as 37 inches.

I feel sure that there are some white jeans out there for you. It's just not easy. Don't give up!

Parsley, L&L are available in size 6 only in tall and regular are even shorter than Curvy
It is really hard to keep a positive body image while shopping for white jeans...

Oh, shoot! I didn't see that they didn't actually have the talls in all the sizes!
I hope they'll get some more in stock, because I think they might work for you.

I like the fit of 1-2 but, yes, they are too short. What a bummer! If it makes you feel any better, I don't have white jeans yet, either. No use for even a k/r yet...

Coming out of "lurk" mode to try to help... I am very tall, too, and was thinking of ordering these pants from Anthropologie:

The inseam is 33.5" but the hem looks to be at least 2 inches. My plan was to buy them and taken the hem down.

I don't know if you have Anthropologie in Canada or if they ship there, but these pants could work. I will let you know if I see something else! I feel your pain about pants/jeans for talls! Good luck!

I agree with you! 1 has a nice fit but it's too short!

Are the GAPs a tall, i.e. 36" - 37" inseam? 34" is regular.
These sexy boots have a 37 inch inseam, for tall sizes. That's probably what you need.

Gap sizes and lengths are horribly inconsistent. I ordered a pair online that I already had and they felt a whole size out. I also have L and R in the same style and they are the same length.

Sveta, pants are a challenge and white ones are the worst. Try not to get discouraged. When you find the right pair, it will be worth it.

Zap, these are Gap Curvy bootcuts in regular: they do not carry tall sizes in Canada
Sexy boot is cut too slim in the thigh for me and too low rise.

Regulars are not going to fit us, Sveta. They have the ones you have on in a 36 inch inseam, in the US site. Are you able to order online from the US site? If not, I can order and ship for you. Let me know if you want my help.

Sveta, just chiming in to say I sympathize! I have a hard time finding pants long enough and I'm not even very tall!

I have been searching online for some Paige Hidden Hills in white because I think they might work for you, but it seems they're all but gone (I found one lonely pair of size 24s). If I see anything promising, I'll let you know.

Oh, Sveta, I empathize! Not with the length issue, but with white pants in general. I went through the white jean exercise last season and thought I had found *the pair*, but this season they seem to have the dreaded crotch wrinkles and also seem tight and I feel self conscious. I asked hubby about them and he said "didn't we already go through this?". Well, yes, but...

Thanks Zap, you are too sweet! I can try to size up in Gap curvy and see if I like the fit - if yes I may risk to order tall from US. Do you know if regular and tall fit the same except for the length?
Janet, thank you! I am afraid I have to forget about paige in white. I tried Hidden Hills straight in white and they were too tight in size 32, I would need to size up but they do not make sizes over 32 (at least i have never seen them).
I will wait for the express trousers and if they are bust as well I will try CJ from Zappos...
MTB, that is frustrating to find out they do not fit anymore. I had the same unpleasant surprise with my first pair of skinnies I bought 2 years ago - now they live in my mom's closet...

Sveta, did you try Levi's yet? I have 2 pair that I bought a couple of years ago (still holding up nicely) and both were quite long for me (maybe a 34 when I needed more like 30). I had mine hemmed.

I have never tried the regulars so I'm not sure. I don't think the talls are high waisted, however.

Sveta do you think that the first pair may have been previously hemmed? I have run across that in online shopping. You might order another pair just like those and see if they are longer.

It's a sad situation, Sveta! I am totally with you :). I wonder about straightlegs...then you wouldn't have to worry so much about length, since they wouldn't need to go with heels? Sometimes I can get away with regular length pants or jeans if they are straights or skinnies, vs. the bootcut PPL situation (though I think your inseam is longer than mine).

Hang in there--it's not you, it's the pants!!!!!!!

Just thought of Eddie Bauer who also does tall sizes? If they ship to you they have 2 styles of tall white jeans.

San, I actually got 2 pairs of each - in 2 sizes. I just measured both Gap pairs and they are the same length and at least 1" shy of 34" length posted on the site.
Jonesy, my intent was to get trousers or bootcuts because they are more generously cut in the thigh and then ask my mom to make them into straight leg if possible: that's why I thought 34" should work for me.
Jjsloane, I just checked EB site: straight and bootcut models are sold out in tall in my size
Sarah,JCrew is next for me to try if Express trousers are a bust too. I don't want to order too many jeans with international shipping at the same time...

You see, it is not just length I find hard to find, it is also fit. I was in Tall Girl store last weekend and tried on their white jeans. The length was good (of course) but they just did not fit me well - I cannot even explain why, they just did not sing to me. I don't just want PPL white jeans or trousers, I want PPL white jeans or trousers which fit me perfectly and flattering. It is a tall order, I know but blame Angie for installing PPP principle into my brain!:-)
