Where to find those elusive white jeans?

I am on SYC until NAS with one exception: if I find a perfect pair of white jeans I will snatch 2 pairs!
So far my SYC is safe: those white jeans just evade me. Paige jeans fit me well so I ordered straight Paige in white - no go: too tight in the thighs and I cannot size up in them as 32 is their upper size.
I tried several white jeans styles in Tall Girl. They all long enough but too long for me in the rise. So this is my dilemma: I need tall in inseam but regular in the rise...
I tried Gap - size 12 is too tight in the thighs and size 14 is too baggy in the hips and tummy area so no go.
I have white KUT bermudas in size 12 which fit fine but I could not find anything in full length. I need at least 33.5" inseam for staright legs and ideally 34"+

Does anybody has suggestions what else to try?

I am a pear shape and Joe's are my go to brand. (I'm also short so I go with the petite provocateur style but the honey style may work on a taller lass)

I wear two sizes up from my regular jean size in my white denim. And I have to get the waist taken in. In my usual denim size for some reason the white denim looks too tight so I go up two sizes.

Zap, I don't think they carry tall sizes in the store, right?
Tanya, straight or bootcuts both should work if they are not cut too too tight in the thighs. Unfortunately I have tried several different styles of COH and none fit me - so fay Paige was the only premium brand I had luck with.
Lisa, all Joe's I have seen so far were too short...:-(

Sveta, this won't help you since the inseam is too short, but for others I found that Jag makes very thick white jeans that are cut relatively generously through the legs. I got straight legs, then pull-on (barely) bootcuts, and both were of similar fabric. I had to size up in the latter.

What about J. Crew? Their jeans come in tall.

Sveta, J Crew online has white denim jeans, talks have a 36" inseam. I own all the cuts, the rise is regular, the boot cut has loosest thigh area, then the matchstick, forget the "skinnies". I would post a link, but not too computer savvy. Good luck!

No, I have not seen talls in store. I do have a pair of CoHs, 7s and a few Joe's. Some of them are long enough on me but I think you are taller than me. I'm 5'8".

I think i have tried every brand of white jean out there, and hudson and 7fam are my favorite. Both have a 34 inseam (the hudsons feel a bit longer than that). Definately agree with a prior angie posting on white jeans; find your perfect fit, then purchase down one size. They all stretch out--a lot!

The problem with premium denim is that I would need to size up for white but my size 12 (32) is usually the biggest and there is nowhere to size up.

Tanya all these are premium and I cannot size up in them. As for my size I tried 7fam, COH, TrueReligions and Paige from premium jeans and nothing works for me but Paige.

Lulu, I don't like back pockets on Hudsons so I always stayed away from them Maybe I should try them: if everything else is working maybe I can live with the pockets.

These aren't premium at all, but I finally found a pair of white jeans that fit at JCPenney after trying on nice jeans, cheap jeans, thrift jeans, junior jeans, mom jeans, etc.

These JCP jeans have a regular rise since that's what I take and I'm pretty sure they have talls. I don't see any talls on the website but you might try the store itself.

My best white jeans were Esprit but they are no longer shipping to either Canada or the U.S. I think white jeans need to be a slightly looser fit to look the best.

I am going to watch this thread as I also need a pair of white jeans this year.

No help on specific white jeans Sveta, but wanted to let you know that my Mom (in Vancouver) has ordered from JC Penney before with no problems. She hasn't had to return anything - so I have no idea how that part goes.

eta: I just went and perused JCP - and no luck - didn't see any white jeans that would work and that come in a reasonable length for you. Sorry. I also looked at Land's End and Land's End Canvas as well - got all excited because there was a nice looking pair on sale for $14.99 on a sale page, but there's only one pair left, and they are a 16 so they'd be too big.

This is a tough challenge Sveta!

There are some white jeans on Banana Republic - not slim/straight - but flares and trouser styles. However, their regular length inseam is around 34" and they also carry talls. Furthermore, they don't stop at size 12 either - yay!

I second J. Crew. I got a tall pair last summer. They were too long for me, even in my highest (3") heels.

VC, you area sweetie doing the research for me! Unfortunately Banana Republic Canada does not carry tall sizes at all. I can try them on anyway and if they fit maybe risk to order tall from US.
Jonesy, do they carry tall in the stores or do I need to order? I really hate to pay all this extra for international orders when they are more often miss than hit.

I noticed they also have white denim pants (straight and bootcut) at Talbot's as well, and they come in "long" - which is 35". If you had to order from the US site, this weekend, there's a 25% off everything sale.

I wonder if Talbots in Canada carries the pants in long?

I know my Mom has been able to successfully order from Talbots US site (they have no Talbots Woman in her area, and she takes plus sizes). Shipping wasn't too onerous, and the duties etc. weren't that big a deal. The main problem is that if you didn't like them, then return is a hassle. As far as I know, Talbot's return policy is 90 days...

I don't know what Talbots pants are like though. Could be worth at least a phone call to a local Talbots to see if they carry the 'longs' and in white denim. That way, if you're going to the mall anyway to try BR's pants, you could maybe try Talbot's as well.

Do you think you might be shopping at NAS this year though? If so, I bet you could wait until then to look for white jeans (not just at Nordstrom but other stores as well).

VC, this is my plan: shop NAS and look at other stores as well. I want to check if I can order things online to be delivered into stores in that mall I am going - this is what I did with NAS last year and it really worked. I will have a look at Talbot's but as far as I know Canadian part is much less than the American...

Mine were about $24 on sale last year - I think I got them later in the season, maybe late June, so they were on clearance.

Makrame, we don't have Chico in Canada.
Denise, unfortunately 7FAM are not good fit for me: I think their rise is too short. As for Paige Hidden Hills bootcuts I would love to try them if I can get them long enough. Dark wash in 32 fits me well but I am not sure if I would need to size up in white - and I have never seen their jeans in sizes over 32.

Sveta - I'm pleased with my jeans from the Jeanne Bekker line (sold at The Bay). I'm not sure of the inseam but it might be worth checking out.

I have ordered BR trousers in white in 2 sizes. Unfortunately Canadian site does not carry tall sizes. If they fit well but too short I may try to order tall size from US.
If they don't work I will try J Crew next...
