On Joy’s challenge post about dressing in black and white (or other neutrals), I responded that I wouldn’t participate, but was looking forward to watching. Well! I took a look at recent outfit pix and lo and behold, what do you think I’m wearing? A black jumper, with a black cardi, and black bell-bottoms. I have a tendency to build little mini-capsules and swap the pieces around until I’m sick of them, so that’s what you’ve got in these pix.

I’d love to hear what you think. It is my first-ever attempt at wearing a dress over pants. The pants + leather jacket was for my walk (a couple miles) on New Year’s Eve. I tried it with red (in silhouette) and metallic boots, but the tall black combat boots unfortunately were not fully healed on their recent visit to the shoe clinic and need to go back, as soon as lockdown is over. The plaza shown was packed with revelers last year, but guarded by cops this year. Most of my time I was in Kreuzberg, where police broke up large gatherings, so I just saw small bunches of people. Still, the fireworks went on and on and on.
