I love army green! And with leather and that gold it's perfect.

Great look, I love how the pants, shoes and jacket all play together. I think that the top length is just right. Olive and navy sound delicious together, you have inspired me to try the combo myself today.

thanks Liz - all leather is navy here , shoes and jacket both

I really can relate to what you say,Lisa- feeling good and then seeding a random pictie and thinking top should be way longer:-(...It happened to me so many times. Bought the size M as fitted quite well, but returned it for the size L, just to have a little more length (even if feels larger, too:-().
But here? I dunno, but love this outfit head to toe and think proportions are really great, and shirt under the jacket long enough for all you wanted!
Now off to read what others said.

Late to respond, but you wear these chinos so well! And you look amazing in navy -- that jacket is excellent.

I understand the feeling upon seeing photos or certain mirror angles, but as has been pointed out to me, we tend to see things in our own image that are not apparent to other people's eye. I am always convinced that people immediately notice "huge thighs" as the first thing about me, but the reality is that's mostly in my head. Of course my proportions are not perfect or ideal, but I try to remember that they are not as disproportionate as I perceive them to be. I have never in a second looked at your photos and seen anything other than a beautiful woman with an enviable shape.

I think it looks great - love navy/olive and have been wearing it a lot.

Girl you got it going on. You remind me of a young Jamie Lee Curtis!

lisap, you are your own worst enemy! you look fab, and this outfit is fab!

navy leather you say? even better!
Sorry for posting and running earlier. I see no tree trunk thighs.

You look fantastic! And I am still laughing about your BR/CM thread

You look great in this, Lis, and I will have to rethink my usual olive mixes to include navy, because this is so great. I notice you and Ms Mary both did a good version of olive and navy on the same day, too.

You know what my favourite thing is? Being called Lis . It's such a familiar warm term to me , and only my family would call me that, especially my mom . . Being a Lisa yourself , I guess you know how that is . It kinda warms this tight little heart

I love you in olive - I remember you posted a WIW last summer in cargo pants and you looked fantastic in them. And that jacket! so sumptuous looking!

Totally hear you about 'mirror blindness', as I call it - I've started to take photos in the fitting room and then peer at them on my phone vs. the full length mirror in front of me - I find it gives a truer picture.

I will say that although your first instinct is to 'cover up' I actually think this is not the way to go - it would make you look rectangular and block-y, while showing your legs gives you more shape and definition (and trust me, no one else is seeing tree trunks!)

(Late to the party but had to chime in and say that you look suuuper in this outfit! Great color combo for you. Could be further summer-ized with a dash of white somewhere. Top length is good. And the more sporty-nude make up works remarkably well with this look.)

Love the outfit, makeup, styling! As a long-torso, short-legged petite myself, I would love to see the top faux-tucked with a bit of blouse to see if you liked the longer leg line (with either a pant-matching belt or no belt)--but otherwise, great choices!

Lol, column, thanks for the upbeat comments ! But can I admit to chuckling here a bit? I am the furthest from being long torsoed and short legged there is I am pretty short waisted and have long legs - which goes to show you how deceiving photos can be regarding how we really look ....

Chic and still edgy. That's my kind of outfit!
