olive bomber/pearls/track pants : Weekend styles :)

Tanya's pearls got me thinking.....

This is what I wear on a typical weekend errand-running day. I initially had on a lilac cashmere sweater with this get-up , but ended up with the grey loose fit t instead . A little too much going on with sweater, pearls etc.

bomber - Topshop - new
track pants - Adidas - old
sneakers - Michael Kors - newish
T - Current Elliot - old
3 strand pearls I forgot I had - even older
pearl earrings in gold claw - Kate Spade - Nordstrom Calgary - newish
scarf - Roots - last fall

Normally, I'd have worn a North Face jacket of some kind , or a short coat, but I'm liking this jacket for weekend wear too. I think it's about paid for itself already

I like the pairing of the feminine scarf/pearls with the track pants. You have that coveted, "I just threw this on, but I still look amazing" thing going on.

The pearls are under there The scarf is just for a bit of protection from the wind - still a tad chilly here !

Well now, that's amazing! I love the way you do sporty luxe -- it looks fab, but also spontaneous and native to you -- if that makes sense. Switch out the pants and shoes, and you have a great smart casual outfit.

Thanks everyone - this was a super comfy Saturday outfit - and......I was pretty glad I was wearing it when, while picking up my dry-cleaning, I noticed a rather tall handsome man standing beside me who turned out to be Ondrej Pavelec...the terrifyingly handsome goaltender for the Winnipeg Jets. Made my day - as I'm an obsessive hockey fan:)

Hey, did I miss something with your hair?! When did the pink come in? I've been a little absent and spaced lately, I must have missed that post. I love it! I want blue...my hairdresser keeps putting me off. She thinks I'm not serious.

I wish we could go shopping IRL...jewelry, scarves, makeup! Fun!

Peri - the pink streak just happened . Was a little unsure about it right up to the application - I had an idea of the colour I wanted and it didn't quite work out. It's ok, but I'm not sure I'll do it again. I expect it should be gone in another week or so

Glory - sure- there's still snow but for walking to and from the car, it's totally fine. It's been pretty warm here over the past week too - and today it's warm and sunny and snow is melting like crazy - going up to 10C by Friday this week !
