Don’t wear these oldies...what I’d like is some feedback if they are wearable...ie do they look sufficiently current or could they be modernized with a an alteration or different styling.
1st up is a trench dress. This is from pre 2007...it’s really well made and with trenches trending wondering if time to pull it out again

2nd up is a black & white check blazer. Don’t know when this is from, but probably mid 2000s sines it was made in USA.

3rd is a longer blazer. I’m not a fan of the shoulder pads, but like the longer length. Is it worth having it altered and remade?

As always all thoughts, suggestions and comments welcome and appreciated

The trench dress is fab, LOVE it. Suits you perfectly.
I also love the jacket with the large puffy shoulders - a really fun and special piece. IMHO - I would wear it as is, to me it is quirky unique and fab. I don’t know much about alterations, but I think that changing shoulders would be quite a big job.
I am not sure about the black and white check blazer. It is a very nice piece and it fits you very well. I don’t know, however, if the style is still current. It will be interesting to hear what the others will say.

The trench is great ,keep that.The first jacket s fine but I m really not sure about that last one,it says Glam Rock to me so unless that’s the look you are after........but Katerina likes it and she is the doyenne of jacket style so maybe it has merits that I just can’t see?

Interesting. That trench dress is fantastic - definitely wear that one! And same with the second blazer - fits you nicely and looks like a classic. Not crazy about the 3rd one.

I don't completely understand the first one, or why a classic trench would be better with no sleeves, and the third one does seem a bit dated, but.. the second is fabulous and that is an outfit right there, especially with those shoes!

isabel--yes, its not technically a trench, it's a dress that was/is designed to mimic a trench. i don't really wear dresses much anymore, but since trench coats seemed to be having a fashion moment, i was thinking i could wear this dress over jeans as sort of a 3rd piece....

interesting the split decision on the jackets....

LOVE the sleeveless trench. KILLER.

#2 is cute too, albeit a little bit big on the shoulders.

#3 makes me smile. Too big. You can't quite fill it out, but very fun to see.

Yes on the trench dress worn as a vest or long layer, as you’ve styled in photo. And yes on the black and white blazer, that color combo is super current. Sadly no on the last jacket in my opinion.

I think no 2 is cool. I would definitely wear that. The dress is good too. I think I would pass on no 3.

I agree with Brooklyn entirely. #3 is just too big on you and resizing jackets can be a costly exercise. Do you have a friend that would love this jacket?

The trench dress is a winner for sure. I like the first blazer, it looks similar to things I'm seeing called utility jackets these days. The second blazer does feel very 80s new wave or something

thanks everyone...the trench dress definitely moves into the active closet, and will get worn if/when it ever gets warm enough that i don't need to wear a sweater! i think i'm going try wearing the black & white
jacket and see how i feel. the 3rd longer blazer....i think i'll try selling it to one of the vintage stores here......

Love the trench dress worn as a vest! Definitely keep.

Less crazy about the other two. He second is close...good at first glance but something about all the pockets strikes me as a little dated.

The third is really fun retro but seems to swamp you. I think it could find a new home.

The trench dress is amazing! And I really like the second jacket too. Maybe with a sweater under it it would fit better? It looks like it lies very nicely.
