I never wear heels, but decided to buy the Okalas because you all rave about them and they didn't hurt in the store, which has never happened with heels! I had a nice Nordstrom note and got a price adjustment today because they are now on sale, so it's basically a $40 trial.

I have always wanted to wear heels with skinny jeans. Three years ago, I never thought I could even wear skinny jeans. I finally got over that, and now I'm venturing into heels. I'm moving at a snail's pace! I'm not sure I can actually wear this out. I know I'll wear the shoes when I need to dress up and have to tolerate any discomfort, but if it's a jeans day...yeah, I'll probably go with something more comfortable. But it was fun to try it on! (Though they are not uncomfortable. I'm baffled.)

I haven't fixed my Speigel jacket yet, but am thinking of taking it to someone and having them put the snap in a less awkward spot and somehow close up the hole.

Question about the Okalas: my right shoe is a little tight on the right side where the front leather starts. Will that area stretch out? It seems like it will.

The other photos are a new pair of ankle-strap sandals that I can't wait to wear! They fit my wishlist 1,000 percent. C'mon, spring! ETA: They are Louise et Cie from Nordstrom, but I don't see them online yet.
