I’m probably really late to talk about wide leg crops but wow I really love them now. I’m normally a dedicated skirt and dress girl for warm weather, but sometimes I just need to do things like climb on bleachers to watch my son play sports and need to wear pants. And I’m definitely anti-shorts. So I thought I would get a couple pairs of these pants for warm weather, and so glad I did! I’ve recently leaned more minimalist in my style, which I think is easy with these pants. I find them really versatile and comfortable. Please excuse the wrinkles. My style moniker is rumpled luxe.
1. Everlane wide leg crop pants. One of the few new purchases I made this year. Well worth it. It’s very substantial and hold its shape well. It’s very comfortable. I’m 5 ft tall and this is the short length. Still pretty long on me, as you can see. https://www.everlane.com/produ.....pant-ochre
2/3 Old express suede culottes. I don’t like this one as much due to the cut but I like the color.
4/5 Current/Elliot wide leg crop jeans. In 4, it was cold in the morning so I had a cardigan and boots. Got warm after a walk, so in 5 took off cardigan and changed to slides.
I have not seen too many people wear them recently. Is it a trend that is mostly faded? Does anyone here wear them still and how do you wear them?
