Yesterday I dropped out of the challenge as I just felt like wearing a favourite outfit from summer 2019. I realise that I do like my new clothes more than the older stuff and that is a good thing!

Today is a new day and I am back on the challenge wearing two OBG items.

This dress made me realise I can wear boho - I refer to this as boho lite. This dress is by Ulla Johnson (I love most of her clothing) bought 5 years ago when the Aussie dollar was stronger against the US dollar, so not as prohibitively expensive as her dresses are today.

I feel that I got value for money with this dress because the quality of fabric, being as light as air to wear and yet washes up perfectly each and every time, beautiful construction, smocking and embroidery, are features that have meant that I enjoy wearing this dress. It fills a nice space between my dressy work dresses and casual clothes and given my new WFH lifestyle, is likely to be a firm favourite going forward.

The bag is a definite OBG item by Just Cavalli, 7 years old and my most used bag and I can say it gets the award for most valuable OBG wardrobe player. I remember buying it on sale at 50% off at a time when I was not looking for a new bag, but I knew that this would be an instant workhorse. I am pretty good at keeping up with the leather conditioner and so my bag is getting better with age.

So two splurge wildcards from circa 5 - 7 years ago that have gone the distance and are not likely to be leaving me any time soon. I slipped on my white shoes, but will often match my bag with these espadrilles or flats.
