I spent the day volunteering at our local seaside market and figured Angie's trendy casual classic ensemble would be just the ticket.
I haven't worn this old denim jacket for a couple of years and it gave just the right amount of extra coverage I needed against the sea breeze that whipped up every so often.
I got a bit unstuck on the tee so I plumped for last year's tunic. It's tired and aching and ready to retire to the rag bag in The Shed but it was the best I could come up with.
The gold loafers are a bit tired and achy too after a heavy tour of duty last summer but flats were a necessity today.
The black skinnies have this coming season left in them before they too will be put out to pasture.
I wore my hat and sunnies because this is Australia and my fly speck town is actually the Skin Cancer Capital of the World.
Accessories are black pearl studs and gold watch, both old but not tired, a state that I aspire to daily.
I felt comfy and happy in this outfit even though each element is past its prime and the proportions are not as pleasing as the other renditions I've seen so far on the forum.
So, all in all, it is a Not Quite Trendy Casual Classic.
Thanks for looking; any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
PS #2 Close up of my new readers. I love them. They are enormous. They are Material Girl in pomegranate by Rough Justice and my first high end for me specs.
