November was a very very busy month (it's the 29th here so one day to go). I missed the 1st of November with a flight back to NZ from the USA so it felt super quick.

Shopping

I added three pieces in the USA - all from Athleta . I wanted to get the Brooklyn pants to replace some very very old On the Fly Lululemon pants. These are sensible practical workhorses for me.

I also added a new linen shirt to wear with shorts and over my swimsuit. I could wear it with jeans but I doubt I will often do that. And a new navy skirt that is practical for easy summer days. These were both local boutique purchases.

Editing

I have edited out two worn out black pieces that I don't plan to replace, and my Veja sneakers. They are too short in length and are not comfortable - I hope someone will want them as they are in good used condition.

WiW

A mixed bag here.

1) Candid shot at our work party with DH and DS. The band was just setting up!

2) Two ways to wear black wide leg pants to work.

3) Two work looks for the same day - I wore the navy during the day and the blazer and satin skirt to the client party the same night.

4) A 50th party look followed by a casual work from home look.

5) What I did not wear to the 1980s party followed by what I did wear.

6) DH and I at a business awards night - we were a finalist but did not win.

I was unhappy with the following looks

1) The Athleta pants and old EF sandals - it felt a bit off?
2) Both 1980s party looks. This is an example of poor planning - i started thinking about this outfit about six weeks ago but made the mistake of not trying it on and had very very little time to prepare given our crazy month. All other looks for parties and functions were planned and felt appropriate and just right for the night!!

Thanks for looking - comments and feedback welcome.
