A few outfits from the past month... I spent a lot of it outside as there is little else to do, so not much dressing up. The “spark of life” in my wardrobe has perhaps been playing around with layered looks for jumpsuits (1 and 4). I’m finding jumpsuits less fussy than dresses because there’s no need for tights, which I’m not inclined to wear around the house. Somehow I only managed to get photos with the grey turtleneck, but also paired these jumpsuits with a black turtleneck, which I think I liked even better.

When I do wear a dress, I almost always opt for leggings underneath (#6). I’m actually wearing the outfit in #6 again today, but with snow boots instead of the old Frye motos seen here. #3 is my take on flares and pointy boots; I don’t do true pointy-pointy, so the Thursday boots are definitely my very favorite footwear for full-length pants like these cords. #2 is an all-day gear outfit with a combo of colors, patterns and layers that I found fun to wear. #5 doesn’t photograph well because of all the black, but made me very happy with its little pop of chestnut/rust as an accent.

OBGs: puffy vest (at least 10 yrs old); olive Athleta leggings (5 yrs old); French press top (6 yrs old); black merino hoodie (12ish yrs old); merino dress (6 yrs old). The Blundstones and Fryes have both been in my closet for over 4 years, approaching OBG status. I think the silver mary-janes are also 4 years old (those make great around-the-house shoes!).
