Thanks to our seasonal change and some helpful forum threads I was looking at my sandals and felt that some were really much more worn out than I like. I only ordered less than 48 hours ago and the 3 new pairs have already arrived. I had been trying to replace the white ones in pic 1 for about a year but nothing has felt refined enough for my preferences. These don’t either in a way but are the best option at a price I find reasonable ($85, the previous white ones from 2021 were $80). I’m not mad on paying about $200 for sandals which some other stores have.
These are synthetic, they have a buckle but it’s only for show as there is Velcro underneath, which does make for easier on/off. I like the tan buckle and the gold detailing. The sole is much thicker/more chunky than I am used to.
There was only one review on the website, only 3 star, the person said they were comfy but had a sucking sound when walking and were unstable. They don’t feel unstable to me but one foot does indeed make a sucking sound! They feel comfortable but a bit heavier than most of my sandals.
I am not sure, but they would work for most occasions- I am not working very much now and am leaving my practice at Christmas. I may do some work elsewhere next year but not much.
So I do like them, but is that enough and will the sucking sound be a deal breaker? I have time to decide whether to keep or return.
