Not a color in sight

I picked this outfit because I was inspired by this picture:

I thought it was interesting that as a lover of color that I would love this outfit. I omitted the shirttails hanging out (looks young -- and wouldn't fly in my work environment) but I think it still falls in the realm of copycat. It's cold here today but not sub-zero so I think this outfit will do.

This is classic, simple, with a touch of retro. I could see Grace Kelley wearing this in Boston, or Jackie O sporting a version with grey trousers and her signature glasses in the late 70's. Beatiful!

I love the way that looks on you, and I am definitely trying that look very soon, though I can (and do) leave the shirt tails out at my workplace. I'll probably add a bold necklace just because I need a little touch of something exotic or boho to feel like myself. Just need to get myself some gray tights now.
