Deborah: Oh, I do love them. Thank you.

alaskagirl: Thanks! I do want an open toe bootie but I want more coverage. High leather. But I need to be searching Topshop. Thank you. Thank you.

Style Fan: I think they will stretch because the leather is very thin and soft. And I could take them to have the shoe repair guys look at them. Or put canned tomatoes in them over night. I did try this but couldn't find the right can. But they really don't feel uncomfortable.

Daria: Yes, so hard to find the right sandals! Perhaps another day of wearing this in the house. Thank you.

viva: Tough is right but I think I'm keeping them. But I will report back on the R&B's. Thanks you.

I actually wrote a reply yesterday on my phone, which seems to have disappeared. I came back to this thread anyways because I'm always interested in edgier sandals and have a near impossible time finding something I can wear. I have to say I think you could do better from a foot flattery perspective, and even though the leather may be soft and comfortable, there is too much vamp for your foot. Now this being said, I will admit to having a bit of a phobia or poison eye for my own toes and how they look poked out of a shoe - so what's flattering in my mind may be warped

Thanks for the extra pics. Personally, I think the extra long vamp looks a little odd because it doesn't curve up like the Balanciaga styles of 4 years ago - which were heels. Although comfy, the vamp still looks like it's cutting into you.

I much prefer what Una suggested, and the second pair of slides you're showing later in the thread. I added some suggestions below.

That said AM, if you love them and are comfy all round, go for it.

lisap: Search continued today but I'm still liking these! I'm going to look at my spring/summer shoes and make some decisions.

old chic: Thanks!

Angie: You're too kind. And you clearly know my preferences. I already have a few very similar to your finds. Perforated, Fly London that looks like Donald Pliner, Dolce Vita that look like Via Spiga... so again, you clearly can read my mind! But you've inspired me. I might do another post about my how my spring/summer footwear is coming along. Again, thank you.

It's a pleasure, AM. Sometimes we need to discuss things out loud before our true light bulb moment.

I love the look. (The fit / vamp question, I have no opinion.) I just ordered somewhat similar Gentle Souls sandals that I will model for you all when they arrive:

I like the wrinkled leather look of yours, and the lower vamp compared to the Gentle Souls version. Like LD Tuttle as Anna said, or Marsell, both usually out of my price range.

Greyscale: Funny. I have these (but not perforated) in my Nordstrom wish list and have been thinking about these. But I'm really still loving my original purchase and think they will be keepers. Looking forward to you modeling these!

I have, and am fond of this recent purchase. I wore them with success on my recent trip to Saudi Arabia. They are not flat but are very comfy. My only issue: I have low volume feet so I have to wrap the Velcro strap to its ultimate so that they are good on the ankle.
