New reader from Macedonia - YouLookFab Forum

Hi to you all.My name is Bibi.
In advance I apologize for mistakes because English is not my first language.
I follow this blog almost 2 years and I have read every post. I'm SAHM and all blog and forum posts have been very helpful to me.
Truth is I joined to be able to see the pictures.
In our country we don't have online shoping or good returning policy,so I have to make choices in the store.And I don't have phone with camera,just basic one,so I can't ask for your input on K/R.
Our income is low and our budget for clothing is very small and we(me,DH and DS) have very small amount of clothes.Let's say I wear almost the same clothes every day.That's why I never joined before because I don't have what to show, I buy very infrequently,I buy just one or two things, and it's not that difficult to make combinations with clothes that I have.
My goal from the first time that I stumbled on this blog, and still today is that everything that I buy must be worn, meaning that mistakes are not allowed (not that I haven't make mistakes in the past).So I don't buy for fantasy lifestyle,I don't buy dressy staff and I don't buy heeled footwear.
You have been very welcoming group of people,I learned a lot from all of you and I'm looking forward to participate more on the forum.

Welcome Bibi. Like you, I don't have a call for dressy clothes so one of the things I love about the forum is seeing them on others. Like you too, my wardrobe is on the minimal side, with gifting and thrifting accounting for about 1/3 of it. I like it that way and I'm always interested in what others with small wardobes have to contribute.

I am new to the forum, too.
It is much harder to make a shopping decision when you know it is a final one. I think we are spoiled (thankfully) in the US that we can return or exchange our purchases.

Welcome from one newbie to another. A small, simple wardrobe can force you to be more creative. There are a lot of threads on the forum addressing this topic. I am always inspired by the women here who purposely streamline their wardrobes and yet put together seemingly endless outfits. Our lives are so cluttered and hectic that too many choices in ANYTHING can be overwhelming, so take heart

Now that you've joined I hope you'll benefit even more from the wisdom, advice and friendship here. One of my favourite things about YLF is convincing me that there is no limits in terms of budget, body type, age or lifestyle that can prevent a person from looking stylish and feeling good about themselves.

Growing up, my family had limited budget, life necessities came first, then everything else, but I remember my mum always being elegant. She actually had very little wardrobe. But it was good things and she rather bought quality clothing rarely than half-good choices.

I hope you'll find new joy within your wardrobe now that you'll be part of YLF in a new way. Often it's little things and the way we see the clothes and feel about ourselves that make all the difference.

Ornella you understand me, food and bills go up to 90% of our budget and there is not much left for other stuff.And yes I get pleasures of little things.And purple.It is my favorite colour and it always makes me happy.

Welcome, Bibi! I, too, am a SAHM for the most part. Also, wanted to share with you that we adopted our youngest of five children from Serbia in 2011. (His name is Nole'/Novak and he happens to have Down syndrome.). He was from the southern part of the country....we LOVED it there, especially the people and food!
