As some of you may know, we had to put my husband's kitty to sleep after 14 years of having him. He was struck with a very fast acting lung cancer than collapsed his lung within a week of him showing symptoms.
DH was devastated, but we were 2 weeks away from welcoming DD2.
He (and our other cat) has been missing his kitty so much through everything that I have put a deposit down on a Maine Coon kitten (this breed is supposed to do exceptionally well with small children and families). He was born Dec 24th, so it will be another 8 weeks or so before we can bring him home. DH is beyond delighted.
