Sveta, you have such a divine face, and this new haircut showcases it beautifully! I think you need to get yourself some texture hair paste and play around, or a hair shine serum applied sparingly on the wispy ends to give them more definition. At this length, you will be amazed what that serum does to the color and manageability of the hair. your hair will appear of a richer color, adding to the style. This cut is actually very versatile, and I think you will soon love it.
Last year I had a very similar haircut. At first I was confused, thought it was too short... then I grew to love it.
Styling ideas that come to my mind:
Rub a dab of hair paste on hands for a few seconds, as to warm it. Apply hands to sides, push hair back and up behind the ears a few times. Then run fingers lightly on the top of the head targeting the roots, lifting them, pushing them gently backwards. All your hair is now up and pushed back. Sculpt down gently, maintaining hair bushed back. Taper sides backwards. Wash hands. Spread 1/8 of a dollop of hair serum on tips. Bring some top front hair strands towards the forehead, or keep all hair back. For more lift and drama, you can use mousse on wet hair before hand.
Another one: Use serum only. Rub a tiny quantity on palms as to apply evenly. Lightly "brush" the top of your hair with the palm, barely touching the ends. Then flatten sides and forehead strands down as to give them more product and bring them closer to scalp, framing your face.
When my hair was that length, I sometimes even rubbed product with my palm on my head making it messy, and then selected a few strands that I pulled down into neater strands until desired effect.
It's all in the sculpting! And the light light touch with products. Enjoy!
