So...I had to go deep in my memory bank and remember that I didn't like mid-length styles on me that sit at or below the shoulder. I prefer them shorter with more movement. And I didn't want to sit on the fence...I need to be able to wear it up but I want a style. I want a style. Runcarla had made the distinction that layers were the big decision as long hair and short hair with ear tuck -- perhaps more of the same. So I said above the shoulder with layers. And I brought Rene Russo (I know not current but I always like this)...

Stylist added more darkness and depth. And it looks carefree/cool curly. And I like it sleek.

I'm very happy.
