New cropped wide jeans.

Thankyou for your help with the first pair of cropped wide jeans I posted, Ladies.

I found these, and I think they work better for me? They certainly feel better; they're a lower rise, lighter wash, softer denim. They have a raw hem (love) that hits just over 2" above my ankle bone.

I got these online from Myers (Australia) and the YLF bookmarklet doesn't seem to be supported; I can't find this particular style on Amazon, so I'm including the link here:

Fresh indeed! I love the almost bohemian vibe. May I suggest a lower contrast belt? I believe light blue items are very easy to find in stores this season. Those pants deserve all the attention!

Thankyou so much, Ladies, x. I can see these being on constant rotation as summer approaches! You've been warned :).

My (naval gazing) learnings:

1. Rise makes a huge difference! Too low creates a muffin top in me, but too high just felt wrong, too. These hit about 1" below my naval, just below my natural waist, and feel much better.

2. Soft, light, and flowing are all no-brainers for me; darker, firmer, and structured are more challenging; and perhaps easier to incorporate in small doses on their own rather than all in one garment.

3. When the going gets tough, turn to the our lovely community for assistance :). Your collective wisdom and kindness can elevate all dilemmas to a learning opportunity and get me out of a WWIT flunk.

4. Fashion is fun, and life enhancing, even moreso when the journey us shared.

These look so good on you Lynne. Great find.

And your learnings are so relevant. I know what you mean about the rise. It can go so wrong can’t it!! I put on some cut offs to paint in the weekend and can’t believe I used to wear them outside the home with a rise about Suz inches below my navel.

And this is a lovely helpful community.
