Yesterday I stopped by the Rack to return something and walked out with this turquoise Milly clutch. Total impulse buy, but I love the color (which is more saturated IRL) and the price was very good. It's nice and roomy.
Anyway, those who know me know that I much prefer a hands-free option on a bag. For things like standing on the subway or bus, holding your clutch in your hand or armpit while desperately trying to hang on to a pole just does not work for me. This one has the silly little hand strap thing on the side, but no real hands-free option. However,the wrist strap on my wristlet is detachable, so I thought I could clip it onto the zipper on the turquoise one. (It's actually clipped to the ring holding the tassel to the zipper.) I figured since the clutch has black trim it would match OK. I could also purchase a different color wrist strap (lots of them available on Etsy for not much money). What do you think? Does it look OK?
(If you think it's a terrible idea, please say so! I am OK with just using this bag as an occasional "driving to dinner" type of thing.)
