New ankle pants and loafers, navy and ink combo.

Hi Fabbers!

Finally a day that felt like Autumn.

I am wearing new wool-blend ankle pants. They are Ink with pinstripes- what say you about the length?
The sweat-style top has wool sleeves and silk body, and the black loafers are an early fav. So far very comfortable, and they have little gold stud detail across the toe area.

My DD's and I went for a hair trim, and younger DD had 'Ombre' colouring to the bottom third of her long hair- looks really good.

Top- David Lawrence
Pant- Trenery
Shoe- Naturalizer

Lovely! Blue and black is a winning combo. And I really like the description of the top. Sounds fun!

I am not very sure about the length. I like it as is, but I am not that fussy about pant lengths...especially cropped pants!

I so love black and blue and it's a combo that really flatters you Lyn, I think you may have pointed this top out to us on our shopping trip? It looks lovely. I'm pleased to see it, as I tried in the same style yesterday with the knit sleeve and silky body (it was camo in blues and greens, grey sleeves), but was undecided. Seeing you wearing this is inspiring as it maintains a relaxed yet dressy aesthetic. It really looks lovely.

I am not sure about the pant length either. IRL they feel short enough, especially when I am moving or seated. In the pics they look longer and less intentional though.

Lyn, you look great! I love the top and the shoes. I am unsure about the pant length...I hope someone with a better eye will comment on this aspect.

I wonder if the pant length could be a little bit shorter to look more intentional? I hope Angie will chime in. The fit looks excellent though, and I love that sweater as well. You look great!

I'm also unsure about the pant length but suspect it would be even better a bit longer. The navy and black combo looks lovely and the sassy sweatshirt is going to be a go-to piece with both comfort and style.

I am hoping that Angie will comment about the PPL, as they are meant to be cropped pants and that is how I would like to wear them.
Perhaps I need to show pics with my ankle boots too for comparison?

These don't look particularly cropped to me, they look like ankle length. This particular length does come up when you sit, that's true! If you want them as crops they need to be shorter. Do they roll? Is hemming an option?

Ta Aida! I think I mean 'ankle pant' rather than cropped.
They sit just above the ankle bone. I definitely want some skin showing with these, but not too much or too little, as they read cooler weather to me.

If that's what you're after, that's what this length looks like to me. It is a slightly awkward length when just above the bone as opposed to hitting on the bone itself; it's got a fun slightly nerdy vibe to it, if you're OK with that. I have a few pants at this length because, well, I am a nerd by profession
