I visited my favourite local dress shop and found a new (to me) Australian label Luuda that made this tie-dyed dress in a lovely cotton silk blend. I really did not think I was going to get a tie-dyed dress in a dressy style - the tie-dyed items that have been in retail here are predominantly bohemian and not right for my style or designer pieces that have been prohibitively expensive. I have admired the tie-dyed trend on Brooklyn in particular, so was thrilled to add this dress in a mint and white combination into my wardrobe.

In the spirit of maximising wears, I attended a local Christmas party (at another favourite local shop for shoes and accessories) and decided to wear the new dress and it made a fun combination with my crazy boots and colourful Bao Bao bag. Here is me with my very glamorous friend having a glass of champagne and a catch up!

I bought the Pinko black bag to pop under the Christmas tree - the picture does not reflect how lovely it is, as it is beautiful leather and has a puffy texture. I had better get the Christmas shopping sorted for the rest of the family!
