Neutrals or Color?

I went back through my pictures and noticed that I prefer pictures of myself wearing color much more than when I am dressed in neutrals. The exception to this might be when I am wearing a mid or light tone Navy. As I refresh my wardrobe, I will keep this in mind.

How about you? Do you prefer neutrals or color?

Neutrals if I had to pick. But the right color in the right amount usually looks great and makes an outfit more interesting to me. I'm never going to have a wardrobe full of neutrals, but I definitely pick less color than I did years ago.

I wear colors during the Summer months. I switch to neutrals during the Winter. Both seem to suit me.

I like colors but during Fall, Winter and Spring I wear mostly neutrals. It is not my choice, it is all what I find in stores! I often add a touch of color with red shoes of some bright scarf. In Summer it is better

Red. Bright red. Lots of it, but not unrelieved red head to toe. Usually with black or gray. I look fine in neutrals alone (black, gray, white), but I come alive in bright red.

Hmm, I might sit this one on the bench. I like and wear both, though probably I wear neutrals a but more, especially if blue denim is considered a neutral.

I feel like I look better in neutrals, but I've got quite a lot of colour already in my pink face and gold-brown hair, so maybe that's why!

I definitely prefer color, but I really enjoy an occasional all neutral outfit (most often a mix of different neutrals).

Light and bright color near my face (because I'm so pale), but neutral is okay for the rest. I usually mix it up. I tend to disappear in all-neutrals.

I bat for BOTH Teams equally, and year round. Cannot live without my happy colours, but am equally devoted to all shades of white, ink blue, denim, a little bit of black, and bright earth tones.

I am like Sara I think, I often wear colour and a neutral together.

I get the most compliments when I wear colour!

I usually prefer to wear 2 neutrals and a color. Maybe it has to do with value or color contrast?

Dottie, interesting idea about value or contrast. I have no idea?

I wondered if this had anything to do with my grey hair. It really doesn't. I looked back at my yearbook pics, old photo albums and it's across the board, regardless of my hair color. I prefer myself in color. It can be neutral plus a color, but there must be some color!
