What rute didn't explain is, she's a professional lizard tamer and recently trained a few of them to talk.

That's the only reasonable explanation for those comments in the workplace.

Forget 'em, you don't need that kind of negativity in your life. You ROCK that red skirt, girl!

Some people don't have manners or common sense!
I'm sure you look great today.

here's a great contemporary styling example btw (a pox on haters): http://thefashiontag.files.wor.....tyle-5.jpg

Also nothing Grace Kelly rocked was ever unattractive.

That skirt is so fabulous I must have it. They just have a different opinion and are rude.

I guess I'll show my age (before internet and social media was around)....I was taught that if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. I find this still a good way to think before speaking.....too bad no one taught rute's "lizards" that...

Good grief, some people were clearly raised with no manners at all. And they obviously need to get their eyes checked. Don't give it a second thought Ms. Beautiful n'stylish!

Good grief! Why would anyone say something like that? How rude and hurtful. I'm sure you looked great.

I'm picturing your beautiful red skirt with pointy toed flats, and it's lovely! I'm glad you've worn it already!
It's so sad how some people can be so thoughtless (at best) or mean-spirited (at worst).

They just don't get it do they. Haters. I think it comes from a lack of confidence that people have, so they have to tear other people down. They probably envy how you always look so great, and can pull off fashion-forward looks. Comments like these come from a place of envy, not truth.

What the heck?! You look great in that skirt, and the skirt is awesome in its own right! I am seriously scratching my head about this one. You have such a good sense of style, Rute, that I can't imagine you looked anything other than fabulous.

I think sometimes changing our clothing choices brings nasty people out of the woodwork for some reason.
