Navy Graphic Skirt with Olive T-shirt.

One thing I have been amiss in rebuilding in my closet is basic t-shirts. I prefer ones that have something a little extra like texture along the neckline.
I was so happy ot find this LizWear one at BJ's while grocery shopping. I loved the square neckline which isn't easy to find and the crotchet detail. With details like this at the neckline I feel like necklaces aren't necessary.

I tried tucking this, but didn't like it with the high waist of this skirt, which you've seen before. Since going without necklace decided the floral scarf worked. I've worn this Navy and white graphic skirt with white, yellow and now olive... Any other suggesions on what colors to pair it with next?

Well there 's red in all it's hues and it's relatives of fuchsia and orange. How about emerald or mint? In the fall maybe burnt orange, mustard, deep red and even brown would work. Also, have you tried a metallic top. How a out pattern mixing with bold navy and white stripes or a gingham checked button down?

I love the skirt and think it would go with almost every color. I know your style is more maximal than mine, so take this with a grain of salt, but I find the patterned scarf a little too much with the patterned skirt and the crochet on the shirt. A plain belt would have looked cleaner to my eye.

I really like that skirt, but I find there is too much going on in this outfit for me. The neckline + the scarf + the skirt pattern looks like they are fighting for dominance. I think any two of them together would be good, but three is too much.

But again, you have a more maximal style than I do!

I like the print on the skirt. The others have made suggestions about a plain belt and I would be incline to agree. Love the olive with the skirt though and how about fuschia with it next time maybe?

I would try a coral or a red top with the skirt. I like the placement of the scarf.

I definitely think a plain belt would be cleaner. Laughing as I have to admit I am not a minimalist.. It's absolutley proven here as my thought process was had I added my sapphire necklace, I would have gone with the plain belt but thought I was cutting back with the scarf and no necklace.... Can see the competition going on when pointed out by wonderful YL Fabbers..

Love that colour combo! Navy and olive are among my favourite colours.

Hmm, let's see....that skirt would probably also go with bright teal, hot or deep pink, lavender, yellow, gray (the right shade of gray), or even kelly green.

I really love the color combo here, and I vote coral or kelly green for your next color combination. A light purple could work as well, or maybe even a pale light blue?
