I've been looking for navy oxfords for literally years. My latest attempt is these navy blue double monk straps. Although not a comfort shoe, they are surprisingly comfortable, and I wore them yesterday for the first time to take myself to a movie. As you can see, I also wore my boyfriend jeans, rolled, to show off the shoes a bit.

While I was standing in line, some old dude kept staring at them - he'd gape at my shoes, then he'd look at my face, then gape at my shoes, then look at my face ... I became quite uncomfortable. It was clear it was the shoes he was staring at - he wasn't doing that "I'm checking you out baybee," thing, he was clearly fascinated with my peds. I'm pretty sure they're not that crazy. (Are they??) Then I started thinking and realized that in the 9 (9!) years I've lived here (OK), I've never seen anyone, male or female, wear monk strap oxfords of any kind. Maybe he'd just never seen such a thing before???
