Hello.

I have been late to the NAS party this year, but my last boxes are finally here.

I am a member of team blue and when I saw these Caslon items in blue I had to try them. One reason why my NAS was so good this year, was because of all the beautiful blues I picked up from Vince and Caslon (and Zella's Pink Violet too.)

1. and 2. Caslon Relaxed Knit Blazer in Navy Blazer with Caslon Pleat Back Long Sleeve Rib Top, and Caslon Cotton Blend Joggers
I see a version of this knit blazer every year at NAS and this year I decided to give it a try. The material is a cotton/polyester blend but to me it feels a bit like terry cloth. It's an extremely comfortable blazer and I can see this easily rolling up into a carryon bag for travel. The fit reminds me of the trendy fit from Angie's recent post. I paired the blazer with this Caslon Pleat Back Long Sleeve Rib Top and Cotton Blend Joggers.

2. Caslon Pleat Back Long Sleeve Rib Top and Cotton Blend Joggers
Reviews say this top runs short in the sleeves but it looks fine to me. I was unsure about the pleat back but it layers fine under the blazer and it adds some nice interest when worn without the blazer. I was intrigued by these joggers when I read reviews that said they are like jeans. I can see why. These joggers have some weight to them, they are not thin and flimsy like athletic joggers. I also really like that there are back pockets, which makes these feel more like pants than athletic gear. I tried the top with a front half tuck.

3. Caslon Stretch Cotton Blend Vneck SS T in Blue Lake
I want to start wearing these joggers now, which is why I picked up a few SS T's to pair with it. I went with the same colors in SS T's that I selected in LS Ts, because it's so easy to just duplicate colors with different sleeve lengths. Does anyone else ever do that?

4. Caslon Crewneck Long Sleeve T in Ivory - Navy Blazer Stripe with
Caslon Relaxed Knit Blazer in Navy Blazer
I want to get maximum use out of this blazer and joggers combo which is why I paired it with a second long sleeve top, this is a basic striped t but I like that the stripes are a little different then what I've seen in the past (they are not evenly spaced) it makes the T different.

5. Caslon Crewneck Long Sleeve T in Ivory - Navy Blazer Stripe
Here's the LS T on it's own in case anyone wanted to see how it fits. Both the long sleeve and short sleeve version of these T-shirts are very soft and a nice weight. They are not too thin and they are not see through.

6. Caslon Relaxed Knit Blazer in Navy Blazer with Caslon Stretch Cotton Blend Vneck SS T in Navy Blazer - White Stripe
As I did with the blue, I'm repeating the outfit combo with a SS T instead of a LS T.

7. Caslon Stretch Cotton Blend Vneck SS T in Navy Blazer - White Stripe
Here's the SS version of a striped T. I appreciate that the stripes on the SS T are different than the LS version. It'll keep the pattern fatigue away.

8. Unexpected Suit
This outfit was a pleasant surprise. I already had the Caslon Tie Waist Stretch Cotton Crop Pants in Navy Blazer my closet. I tucked in the drawstring ties on the waistband, kept the striped SS T and navy blazer on, added some heels and viola, a navy suit. This is such good timing because I have a work trip coming up and I'll be able to swap shoes after the flight and be ready for the day. (Please excuse the unstyled hair, my hair tie fell out from all the outfit try on's)

9. Column of Navy
I like dressing in columns of color so I paired the
Caslon Stretch Cotton Blend Vneck SS T in Navy Blazer and swapped the Blazer for a white denim jacket. I really like how this outfit turned out. I don't see my exact denim jacket anymore (it's a few years old) but it's from WHBM and I added this year's version in the finds.

If you've been following along with my NAS this year, thank you. I have had a stellar NAS for 2024, I think the best I ever had. Which is
nice, because I took a gamble and saved up for it to do a major
overhaul. I shopped very little before NAS this year, because most of my
needs were for fall and winter items. I figured if I didn't get it at
NAS I'd start shopping as the stores got their stock in over the next
few months. Instead, now I can relax and enjoy all my new things!

Thanks for looking!
