I can hardly tell the difference - go with the 10 and save some pennies on tape. Awesome dress on you!

Both are gorgeous on you, but I like the 8 better. The 10 just looks a little loose to me, and the 8 looks made just for you!

You look just stunning in this dresss:) I would be inclined to keep th 10 as I think it's going to be a more comfortable fit in terms of the cross over and not wearing a cami.

Gorgeous piece! I vote 10. It looks like the larger size pulls less. This fits you like a dream!

Beautiful! I'd go with the 10 to avoid the bother of fashion tape (who needs that hassle?). DVF runs really small in my experience. I always have to size up.

Glad you're keeping it!

Hi Ana --

Wow, this looks gorgeous on you in both sizes!

I honestly had to flip back and forth a lot between the sizes, and in the end I'm voting for the 8 for all the reasons 50% of the commenters did.

Have you checked what happens in both sizes up top when you bend, sit, etc?

IME even faux wraps gape open a bit when the body is more relaxed, and when they're looser they seem to be worse gapers! I admit I'll be impressed if you can get away without a camisole or fashion tape in either size. [On my rare wrap dress occasion I wear a slip because I'm apparently required to encounter lots of wind....]

Thank you for the further opinions! It seems to be split down the middle for 8 or 10. DH came home and said he likes the 10 from the front but the 8 from the back, lol.

Vix, thanks for weighing in since I know you have this dress too. I've tried on the dresses and sat and kind of "shimmied" and bounced around to check for slipping. For more conservative occasions, I would definitely wear a slip, but just normal daily wear it would be too hot to wear one, except in the late fall and winter. I can tie the 10 very tightly and the dress is secure without creating any bulges with the belt. I can do the same thing with the 8 but then it cuts into my waist and kind of bulges out around the back. Maybe more extensive tests are in order.

Had the same thought as Diana. Will be watching this... gonna be a close call!

I'm on Team Hubs. I like the 10 from the front and the 8 from the back.

That said, if you are SURE that fashion tape will be the solution for size 8 in front, I'll vote for size 8.

Ana, sounds like you've road-tested it nicely, then, so final call is yours. Can't go too wrong either way from what I'm seeing.

I actually don't have the dress. I bought/tried the NAS python print in several sizes and ...blergh. RETURN. This print didn't call to me 100% so I didn't try it on.

However, you and Elle look so great in this that I ordered a sale DVF in more of an all-over print like yours. I've been stalking it for a while, but it only had 1 size left so who knows if it will work. May do a K/R when it arrives but the bar is high given how good yours looks on!

This dress looks like it was made for you. I thought the 8 looked great, but the 10 also looks wonderful. I'd go with 10 for ease of wear - no tape and more coverage in the skirt.

Oh Vix, thank you and sorry! You're right, Elle has this dress. I guess I remembered you trying it on and forgot that you returned it. I hope the new DVF you ordered works out. Post pictures!

Angie, the fashion tape I buy holds really well (I use it on the gape in button down shirts from time to time and on fallen hems in an emergency). But I wonder if I put a couple of darts in the back of the dress if that would take care of the extra waist fabric on the size 10? That way I wouldn't have to worry about it.

I see I'm going to have to try them both on again and maybe walk around the house for a bit, maybe do some vacuuming.
