My version of lace dress - YouLookFab Forum

It has been a busy week. I haven't been on since last week. I have tried to catch up and make comments.

Look #1 is my version of the lace dress. It was one of my looks I have been wanting to do. I wore to church Sunday, I put a shrug on with it. I do not do bear arms anymore. Any suggestions on other ways to style?

Look 2 & 3 are the same. I have a vest on in one of them. It was a cool morning. When it warmed up I took it off.

Look #4 was today.
I really do need to start taking pictures of my accessories. I don't feel dressed without them. I know I enjoy it when you all take pictures of your accessories.

October 5th my husband and I will be flying to Washington state to visit with my son. He is a Ranger in the army stationed at Ft. Louis. I have 2 upcomung over night business trips so I will probably try to pack this Friday or I won't find time to do it. Any packing suggestions are welcome. Everything will be very casual. We plan to ride the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia while there.

The accessories shots are really fun, aren't they? I never remember to do it, either. But love when others do!

You look terrific in all of these. If you have a denim jacket you could try it over the lace dress for a change of pace.

I prefer 3 to 2 but the vest looks cozy!

The ferry to Victoria is lovely. Such beautiful and scenic views!! I hope you have good weather. For packing, make sure you bring some rain-ready items, and also comfortable shoes. The common wisdom is to bring only one pair of shoes for a short trip, but I find my feet do best with a change, so I always make room for that.

You look really elegant in #1. I like Suz's idea of a jean jacket. For some reason when I use mine as an extra layer over something darker/dressier it always adds some element of style I can't describe. I really like the mix of denim with dressier things.

Enjoy your upcoming travels, I've never been to that area so I will defer to other fabbers.

Enjoy your travels! The lace dress is very nice and it would look good with a jeans jacket. I like the polka dots too!

Gorgeous looks, Vickie! I'd love to see the lace jacket with a richly colored jacket, too. Would it let you layer a shirt underneath, or would it bee too bulky?

I love the fit you get in you pants -- the ease, without sloppiness, and the perfect length. Brava!

It's a lovely dress Vickie and I like how you're wearing it here. You could try nude hose and a paler heel and I support the idea of a denim jacket.
You look comfortable and confident in your casual looks.
